The Fractional Toolkit

Find the Bottleneck. Create the Leverage.

Your business has more potential. Let’s figure out what’s getting in the way.

Your business shouldn't be this hard.

You know there is more potential in your business.

Maybe you need more people. Maybe you need better systems. Maybe technology can help.

Or maybe none of those things are the real problem.

Before you add something new, let's figure out what is getting in the way.

The Fractional Toolkit helps business owners find what is getting in the way and create more leverage from what they already have.

Let's Talk

Where are things getting stuck?

Most business owners can tell when something isn't working quite right.

  • Too much still comes through you.
  • Your team is busy, but you aren't sure everyone is working on the right things.
  • You have systems, but people work around them.
  • You bought technology to make things easier, but somehow it created more work.
  • A process that made perfect sense two years ago doesn't make sense anymore.

Those are the loose threads I like to pull.

Because the problem you see isn't always the problem you need to solve.

Look at the whole business.

People. Process. Information. Technology. Leadership.

They don't operate independently, so I don't look at them independently.

What looks like a people problem might actually be a process problem.

What looks like a technology problem might be an information problem.

What looks like a capacity problem might be work that doesn't need to be happening at all.

And something that keeps landing on your desk may be there simply because nobody has ever stopped to ask:

Why does this need to be done by you?

That's where we start finding leverage.

More leverage doesn't always mean more.

More people. More software. More meetings. More processes.

More isn't automatically better.

Sometimes the answer is to stop doing something.

Sometimes it's changing who owns it.

Sometimes it's fixing a process that has become unnecessarily complicated.

Sometimes technology can take work off someone's plate.

And sometimes one small change removes a bottleneck that has been creating problems across the business.

The goal isn't to add another layer to your business.
The goal is to make the business you already have work better.

How do we do that?

1

Find the bottleneck.

Start with what feels stuck, slow, frustrating, or too dependent on you.

2

Pull on the loose threads.

Ask questions. Look at what is happening around the problem. Figure out what is actually causing it.

3

Find the leverage.

Where can we make a change that gives you more capacity, better information, clearer ownership, or a better way of working?

4

Make the change.

Then we decide what actually needs to change and how to make it happen.

No predetermined solution.

No assumption that you need another piece of software, another employee, or another complicated system.

We figure out what the business needs first.

You don't need to know the answer.

You don't need to come to me asking for an automation strategy, a new operating system, an org chart, or an AI solution.

You don't need to know exactly what's causing it.

You probably already know where it hurts.

Where is your business getting stuck?

Let's start there.
